An echoing pair of voices, as tranquil and heavenly as the angels, beckon me forth from beyond; distant, yet so near. I more than hear the voices, I can feel them, particularly in my mind. The sound is like sweet, almost hypnotic music, like a pacifying lullaby, and even in the sheer darkness that engulfs me I am somehow able to find my way, as I follow my heart towards this haunting sensation, compelled as ever before. The voices almost seem to carry me, like gentle and guiding hands, and I feel light as a feather as though I am merely floating on the wind.

I don’t know how much time passed, after that. For what seemed like an eternity, I just sat there, weeping softly to myself. I remember how shocked and delighted I had been when I first discovered that my entire so-called heritage was nothing but a filthy lie, that the Duckulas were never truly meant to be vampires at all… and how distraught I was when I had failed to change my own history for the better. I continued on, just unconditionally submitting to this phenomenon, spirit, voice, force, or whatever you want to call it, allowing it to lead me. Some may not understand the difference between following your intuition, or ‘gut feeling’, and following your heart- truth be told, I never could either, until then- and I really can’t explain it, but trust me, there is a huge difference. Just got recently hooked into Duckula, mostly through watching the eps after a long while at YouTube.
I recently got an old Duckula comic from a family friend's son who was tossing his collection out;said Duckula issue was one of them. It was written by Mike Gallagher, who later become imfamous as a writer for the Archie Sonic series.
Its late though(Almost 2 AM here), so I'll speak more about it later. Just popping in to acknowledge me getting in.
